Members of Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point’s Relay For Life team pose with trophies acknowledging their achievements and certificates of appreciation.

Tampa Bay/Hudson, FL - Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point recently announced that Mike McDaniel, paramedic in Emergency Services, has been named its Employee of the Month.

Mike has developed a reputation as "the most pleasant individual we have ever seen." Mike is known for always wearing a smile on his face regardless of the situation. He also is known for singing to patients in the emergency room in order to take their minds off the emergency at hand.. One patient actually cried with joy because the song Mike sang reminded her of a wonderful time in her life.

Mike McDaniel not only works full-time at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point but he also serves as a paramedic for Pasco County Fire & Rescue. He is considered to be a hardworking, honorable, and dedicated professional. He is wonderful to patients and serves our community in more ways than one.

As Employee of the Month Mike McDaniel receives an Employee of the Month pin, a selected blanket gift, a reception with refreshments for his colleagues, and a coveted front row parking spot of his choosing for one month, and a $50 gift card.

In addition, Mike receives a "You Make a Difference" starfish key chain personifying a well known story of the young man and the starfish.

Each Employee of the Month is also placed in nomination from RMCBP's Employee of the Year to be determined at the end of the year.
