Tampa Bay/Hudson, Florida - Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point announces that it will hold a diabetes self-management workshop on Mondays, April 8 to May 14, from 1 pm to 3 pm at the Rao Musunuru, MD Conference Center, 14100 Yosemite Drive, Hudson FL 34667 (Back Campus of the Hospital) The diabetes self-management workshop is given two and a half hours once a week for six weeks. Subjects covered include how to:

  • Work with your healthcare team
  • Manage your symptoms and blood sugar levels
  • Use your medication effectively
  • Exercise safely and easily
  • Handle depression
  • Plan healthy meals
  • Communicate better about your health with family and friends
  • Solve problems
  • Relax and manage stress
