Tampa Bay/Hudson, FL – The popularity of Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point’s “Tuesday Tutorials” continues. May is Trauma Prevention Month and the hospital will continue to offer three Tuesday Tutorials through the month of May. On May 12, 2015, RMCBP will present a seminar entitled “Injury Prevention; How Not to be a Statistic” by Joseph Mastandrea, RN, BS. Mr. Mastandrea will discuss falls, bike safety and distracted driving.
Mr. Mastandrea is the Trauma Program Manager at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point where he has been employed since 2009. Mr. Mastandrea has been in the medical field for over 23 years in acute care hospital settings with primary focus on emergency medicine and intensive care nursing. He has worked in the Pasco, Citrus and Hernando County area for 17+ years and is aware of our community’s needs. Mr. Mastandrea started his career as a volunteer firefighter and EMS in Westchester County, New York, while studying nursing at Pace University.
The program will be conducted at noon at the Rao Musunuru MD Conference Center at 14100 Yosemite Drive, Hudson, Florida 34667.
