Program Director, Cardiology Fellowship

The Cardiology Fellowship Program at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point (RMCBP) is affiliated with Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and is a comprehensive, three year program. Upon completion, the fellow will meet the training requirements to take the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine Subspecialty Exam in Cardiology.

During the training the fellows will gain extensive exposure to a wide variety of cardiovascular pathology in addition to diagnostic and interventional treatment of a wide variety of cardiac and cardiovascular diseases. The fellows will have the opportunity to observe and participate in a variety of cardiac. vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures, including Watchman Left Atrial Appendage Closure, and TAVR, in addition to advanced electrophysiolic procedures and ablations, structural heart disease imaging and intervention, working side by side with a very advanced cardiac surgery program.
